Learn the skills you need to knit an awesome simple hat!
Pre-req: Beginner’s Knit or equivalent
Skill Level: Beginner/ Intermediate
What you'll need:
- 1 skein of DK or worsted weight yarn (can be purchased with a 10% discount at Gather at the beginning of class)
- Double-pointed and circular needles in a variety of sizes, for gauge swatching at the beginning of class
What you'll learn:
- Project prep
- Pattern reading
- Knitting with double-pointed needles
- Ribbing and other stitch patterns
- Decreases
- Finishing
Session Overview:
We love knitting hats and we know you will, too! Beginners and more experienced knitters will enjoy this class. Students will choose from 3 different hat patterns, learning a variety of skills in the process. Cables anyone?! This class occurs over the course of TWO 2-hour sessions. Please make sure you can attend BOTH sessions when you sign up.
