We’ve made no secret of our love for Quince & Co here at Gather, and they’ve nailed it again with Chickadee Organic Heathers. This update to their sportweight favorite took years to perfect, but it was worth it. These heathered shades add depth to Quince’s already lovely colorways and the advent of organic wool allows for more sustainable, earth-friendly production.
Most importantly, this yarn is great to knit and crochet with! It is soft enough to wear against the skin and produces beautifully even stitches with great stitch definition. The triple ply gives the yarn a touch of intriguing but subtle texture.
We recently used Chickadee Organic Heathers to knit the Angela Cardigan. This little cardi is the perfect easy-to-throw-on layer as spring approaches and the pattern is simple enough to allow for binge-watching, but has enough technique to keep it interesting!

We’ve stocked up on lots of colorways, stop in to give this yarn a pet and see it for yourself!
