Ready for Stitches SoCal!

The countdown is on - Stitches SoCal is just 2 weeks away! We’re excited to be back this year, from Thursday, Nov. 14th - Sunday, Nov. 17th. You can find us near the entrance in booth 101/103, check out the official map to find all your favorite vendors, get marketplace hours and info on entrance fees (it’s free Sunday!!!) Just a head’s up - we’ll be bringing all our inventory to Stitches and the shop will be closed that Thursday - Sunday.

You may be wondering what sorts of fun stuff we have in store for our booth - the answer is lots of fun stuff! 

From Me To Yarn - We love Jessie and her beautiful hand-dyes and we’re thrilled to bring a whole bunch of her goodies with us to Stitches. If you want to get an early dose of FMTY, we are hosting their trunk show Nov. 9th and 10th with Jessie in-store 11 AM - 4 PM both days! Get first pick and a chance to meet the dyer. 

Murky Depths Dyeworks - You may have heard of these folks, their complex and saturated colors are gaining them lots of attention. And with good reason! Stop by our booth to give these lovelies a squeeze and a new home. 

Totally Tubular Sock Tubes - Elba and Juanita - her magic sock knitting machine, will be joining us that Saturday from 1 - 6 PM to take your sock yarn and crank it into a knitted tube. Add an afterthought heel and you’ve got a pair of socks! Throw on some pom poms or fringe and you’ve got a scarf! Stop by to see a demonstration or place your orders. 

Native Knits Trunk Show - We are so excited to host designer Jennifer Berg’s stunning selection of hats and cowls. Every piece has a story, incorporating Berg’s love of and history with indiginous design.

La Serena Tejera - Creative force (and fiber artist!) Mona Reyes has charmed the knitting community with her Latinx inspired knit and crochet tools and whatnots. She sculpts her stitch markers by hand and her hand-drawn illustrations are featured on stickers. Fair warning, you’re going to want all of it! 

Juicebox Yarn x Gather DTLA - We’re dyeing our hearts out and will have lots of fresh colorways and a couple of new bases (did someone say mohair…?)

Malabrigo Rios Trunk Show - Check out some of Malabrigo’s designs knit with Rios, their plied DK weight yarn. Knit in their trademark colors and soft as can be, these samples are a delight to behold!
